      Remove a Network device

      This article covers the required steps to stop monitoring a network device.

      Note: This procedure is only applicable for network devices that have been added by Explicit Discovery. For network devices that have been added by Recursive Discovery, please see the following link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh212795.aspx

      • In the Operations Manager Console go to Administration -> Network Management -> Network Devices.
      • Under Resource Pool: Networks Resource Pool (or similar) select the device and in the Tasks pane click Delete.
      • Click Yes in the Confirm Delete Network Device window…

      … and in a couple of minutes the network device should disappear from the Network Devices list.
