Alert Update Connector is a free and unsupported tool that is based on pre-defined rules, monitors, and groups.

With less administration and high accuracy, and an easy to use interface, you can delegate the administration of the alert escalation process. When new similar alerts are raised, the engine evaluates the alert and makes a suggestion based on your historical data.

For alert management, yes, but the intention of EZalert is not to compete with Orchestrator in any way. EZalert is designed to dress the issues within the alert management process.

Some alerts within Operations Manager should not be tuned away, but instead, we can close them and use the alert history for analytical purposes. And with the combination of alert enrichment and automatic assignments to different resolution state, you get a clear view focused on productivity.
